Was at Tashas at Nelson Mandela Square for a birthday and it was truly a wonderful experience. The food was fresh full of flavour and absolutely The drinks were perfectly made and very enjoyable The atmosphere was lively, warm, and welcoming, which made the celebration feel extra special Sitting there surrounded by the energy of the square, made it feel more than just a meal. It was a proper celebration with friends, laughter, and good conversation. The staff were attentive, friendly and made everything flow effortlessly. I left feeling completely satisfied, happy, and already looking forward to my next visit. Tashas is definitely a place where the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all come together beautifully.

I'm always satisfied every time I visit. The staff are friendly, and the food is really delicious. However, I noticed a sandy texture in the salad, likely from some leafy vegetables.

The Nelson Mandela Tashas has a moody atmosphere which is quite different from the others, but this uniqueness makes it so wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed both our berry tart, frullato, and arabiatta! The service was quick and our waitrons were friendly and pleasant.

Love love love ! The dishes were flavorful and beautifully prepared , every bite was a delight. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The quality of the food absolutely justified the price. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place for a ribeye steak. Better than the other 2 "proper" steak joints at the square imho. The steak was nicely down with my favourite type of onion rings only found in Johannesburg ( at least that is what I think). And the calamari is really special and fresh. Service is always good and attentive every time I am here. Will come back again without a doubt. Maybe I will try the t-bone next time.
